​Research on innovation and sustainability applied to food waste: This project centers on food waste in the beef retail sector in suburban São Paulo. The research seeks to identify waste patterns, analyze existing processes and internal controls, and propose innovative strategies to reduce waste and foster a culture of sustainability within companies operating in the sector.

2013 - 2017

Research in coordination of the beef chain and its subsystems: The objective of this doctoral thesis was to analyze how European Union requirements influenced the development of the Brazilian agro-industrial beef system. The study employed transaction cost theory and examined coordination mechanisms between farmers and processors to meet market demands.
